A study on St Timothy that turned out to be an icon of the Saint painted with bold, complementary colors in a round wooden plaque, that has a string for hanging

The painting technique is eggtempera applied in a -specially prepared- gessoed panel  measuring 15x15cm. The colors where protected with shellac and finally sealed with resin varnish to produce an artifactthat will last
