St Euphrosynos the cook 22K Gold Framed painting of the orthodox Saint Efrosynos patron of chefs Byzantine art of Greece by angelicon

Saint Euphrosynos the cook found, in the middle on the night, in Heaven, holding a branch of heavenly apples. On the bottom right his name and profession- the cook (Aghios Efrosynos - o Magiros)   written in Greek. He is dressed in simple clothes somehow rough and peasant-like as his story dictates.

A most moving story of one night in Paradise, painted with the byzantine manner -with eggtempera and 22K gold) and then framed, with a handmade golden frame to make a unique piece of religious work.
