Saint Maron- Framed painting of Deir mar Maroun Icons of Christian Saints and martyrs of the East

A  framed paintying of a Saint venerated particularly in Syria and in Lebanon: St Maron or Deir mar Maroun- The Saint is holding a staff, a church and on the back the cross and the cedar.

The painting is executedon a specially treated with gesso, light carton canvas that measures 33x28 approximately and is being put inside a frame

The medium for this artwork ( is eggtempera, covered  with shellac (an organic varnish) and sealed with resin varnish.
