Made to order Icon of St Sebastian, Confirmation gift patron Saint of Sports

A made to order St. Sebastian in military clothes with the arrows and the cross of the martyr. The patron Saints of Sports

The icon measures 12x14 cm in size.

Materials
It would be hand-painted with egg-tempera (the traditional mixture of mineral powders- egg and vinegar) on a specially prepared wooden panel. Copper gold would be added on the background, that eventually will acquire a copperish brown antique color. On the end several layers of top coats would be added to make the icon last for long

Timing
After the order, it is panel preparation and then the painting phase which will last about two weeks. I send a picture update as soon as the painting is done
The colours and the top coats (shellac and varnish) will also remain to "rest"

Finally when the painting is totally dry- I pack the icon (prepared always as a gift) and send it registered mail to you prepared as a gift
