Holy family icon- Folk naive Xmas triptych Nativity of Christ painting for Christmas, armenian art handpainted gift

A folk/ naive in style  representation of the Nativity of Christ inspired by a armenian illuminated manuscript: The basic "figures  are all present here: Christ Child in the manger, the little animals, Mother Mary looking at the worried St Josef, the Angel and the three kings bearing gifts, the shepherds. And on top the star of Bethlehem shining bright

Size of the center piece 7" x 4.33" (18cm x 11cm)/ size of right and left fold 6.1" x 1.9" (15.5cm x 5cm)- The background of the triptych is covered with copper gold something that will  eventually add an antique patina. The triptych is treated on the back with an organic dye- and also two more figure are added on the back of the triptych "doors".

Each of our icons is drawn, as faithfully as possible, to the old byzantine art of iconography. The have their own special gift wrapping and come with some little extra surprises from our shop which we believe are perfect for a gift
