Words are few to describe the work of Elder Aimilianos of Simonopetra and the void that left behind him- I tried to represent his figure with a contemporary manner and I was mostly concerned in representing his posture and this aura of steadiness and peace that it radiated to me

I also believe that the double silverish frame -alos made by hand in a Greek workshop- further enhanced the colors of my original work on canvas , creating a very original piece
