Driftwood painting Icon of Saints Constantine and Helena- Original art painted in beach wood from Greece

An original icon handpainted  in egg tempera with Sts Consrtantine and Helen on a piece of wood found on  the beach. The Holy Great Sovereigns Constantine and Helen, Equal to the Apostles and the ones that established, after 300 years of prosecution religious tolerance to the Roman Empire allowed Christians to finally practice their faith in Peace.

They are depicted holding the "True Cross" which was unearthed through their efforts, , with their garments as traditionally represented with a lot of ornaments and decorations- The icon has the approximate size of 50 cm in height and  is drawn according to the rules of the old byzantine art of hagiography or else holy iconography. I
