A study drawing of a very beloved, newly -canonised saint of the Orthodox Church, Elder Paisios the Athonite. The painting was executed in 220 grms acid free paper measuring 24x32 cm or 9"x12" The mediom was egg with blue, black and bit red powder pigments.

The drawing is unframed

I always wondered in what point does  a simple drawing becomes the face of a Saint- and tried to figure it out in a series of drawings, made available for purchase here in my shop
